On November 20, at the Saint John Paul II National Shrine, a thanksgiving ceremony for the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy will be held. At 11 am a solemn Eucharist will be celebrated, followed by the screening of the latest film about Divine Mercy, “The Face of Mercy” about noon. Then a meeting with refreshments will take place. At 1.30 pm, a conference about the Mercy of God will be delivered by Sr. Donata Farbaniec from the Washington community of the Congregation of Our Lady of Mercy. Another Mass will be celebrated at 2 pm. At 3 pm, there will be prayer at the Hour of Mercy and recitation of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, followed by adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and confession. The event will conclude at 4:30 pm with blessing and honoring the relics of St. Faustina.
