The Church under the invocation of St. Joseph at the monastery of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Walendów – where St. Faustina prayed and where Fr. Edmund Elter SJ “unfolded her wings for flight” for the first time, confirming the divine origin of her mystical experiences – is undergoing a general renovation and needs financial support.
The sisters have already managed to: replace the windows and doors, install new electrical wiring and lighting, repaint the church interior, restore the marble floor, replace the pews, and repair the bells with an automatic system. Soon, they plan to install a soundproof confessional and build a railing in front of the altar.
However, the main goal of the fundraising effort is to renovate the church façade and replace the gutters. Donations for this purpose should be sent to the following account:
