“My Heart is full to the brim with mercy and compassion for all people. My bride’s heart must be like My own Heart; a fount of My mercy for souls must issue from her heart; otherwise I shall not acknowledge her as Mine” (Diary, 1148).
“The profession of the perpetual vows constitutes the specific commitment to the ceaseless endeavour in striving for holiness. For this reason, being responsible for their spiritual formation, all the sisters are to undertake the effort of working on themselves throughout their entire life. In perfecting their own personality, they will contribute at the same time to the development and sanctification of the Congregation and to the more perfect fulfilment of the mission which God has entrusted to them.” (Art. 129 of the Constitutions).
