Patron Saint for 2024 the draw

Every year in the convents of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy, a drawing of annual Patron Saints takes place. The event was of great importance to St. Faustina, as she was expecting great help from heaven, given to her at the request of the Patron of the Year. Saints are not just models of Christian life, from whom a lot can be learned, but also our intercessors to God.

Together with the Patron Saint, we receive an annual intention to pray for, which we can do in various ways, even with a short ardent act. We also draw a message that most often comes from the Diary of Sister Faustina.

We receive our Patron Saint in a lottery by choosing an number between 1 and 100.
