“My Spirit will be the rule of your life. Your life will be modelled on Mine, from the manger to My death on the cross. Enter into My mysteries and you will learn of the infinite depth of My mercy for creatures and of My unfathomable goodness, and you will tell the world about it” (Diary, 438).
Her first monastic vows of chastity, poverty and obedience (made for one year), bring the sister into the juniorate stage of the Congregation in which she renews her vows each year for the next five years. During this time the sisters, under the direction of their juniorate superior, continue their spiritual formation, aimed at deepening their inner life; bringing them into closer union with Christ; and at the same time leading them to a fuller identification with the Congregation and involvement in its apostolic mission. During this period the juniorate sister gains relevant professional qualifications and completes the education needed by her for the religious life and apostolate.
Five months before her complete dedication to the Lord the sister begins the third probation, a time of immediate preparation for taking perpetual vows of chastity, poverty and obedience according to the established Constitutions of the Congregation.
