Candidacy
“I had felt the grace of a vocation to the religious life ever since the age of seven. The first time I had heard the voice of God in my soul, inviting me to embark on a more perfect life, was when I was seven. (…) I never met anyone who could explain these things to me” (Diary, 7).
The aspirant period in the religious house of the Congregation is intended for girls who exhibit the grace of vocation, but who do not have the appropriate age or preparation for religious life. During this time, the candidate for the Congregation is included to a certain extent in the work and life of the convent, and completes her education.
