On the meadows in front of the Basilica at the Shrine of Divine Mercy, a special zone of reconciliation has been arranged, in which 50 confessionals are found. During the Jubilee Pilgrimage of the Young – July 26-28 – priests will be there to confess the faithful in 9 languages: Polish, English, Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Russian and Ukrainian. On Tuesday, July 26th, the zone of reconciliation will be open from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm, on Wednesday to 8.00 pm, on Thursday and Friday to 2.00 pm to 12 pm, because of the direct preparation for the visit of Pope Francis, who will also sit to the confessional at the Shrine on July 30 to confess five young people in Italian, Spanish and French. However, in reality the One waiting in all those confessionals will be Jesus Himself, and He will act, giving the grace of forgiveness and peace the through the ministry of priests. He said to Sister Faustina: “Tell souls where they are to look for solace; that is, inthe Tribunal of Mercy [the Sacrament of Reconciliation]; There the greatest miraclestake place [and] are incessantly repeated. To avail oneself of this miracle, it isnot necessary to go on a great pilgrimage or to carry out some externalceremony; it suffices to come with faith to the feet of My representative and toreveal to him one’s misery, and the miracle of Divine Mercy will be fullydemonstrated. Were a soul like a decaying corpse so that from a humanstandpoint, there would be no [hope of] restoration and everything would alreadybe lost, it is not so with God. The miracle of Divine Mercy restores that soul infull” (Diary, 1448).
