On the occasion of the Jubilee of Mercy and the 1050^th anniversary of the baptism of Poland, on June 4^th (Saturday), in the church of Raphael and Michael the Archangels in Aleksandrów, Metropolitan Archbishop of Łódz, Marek Jędraszewski, will dedicate a new altar to the Divine Mercy and its modern-era apostles: St. Faustina and St. Pope John Paul II. Mass at 3:30 pm will be preceded by prayer at the Hour of Mercy and Chaplet of Divine Mercy. About 6:30 pm, a concert of praise by the band Mocni w Duchu (Strong in Spirit) will take place in the church. Preparation for these celebrations will include a three-day retreat, which will be conducted by Fr. Krzysztof Cyran, a Salesian priest. It is worth noting that St. Faustina prayed for one year in this very church. She also received the sacrament of Confirmation here.
