On the occasion of the Jubilee of Mercy and the 1050th anniversary of the baptism of Poland, on June 4th (Saturday), in the church of Raphael and Michael the Archangels in Aleksandrów, Metropolitan Archbishop of Łódz, Marek Jędraszewski, will dedicate a new altar to the Divine Mercy and its modern-era apostles: St. Faustina and St. Pope John Paul II. Mass at 3:30 pm will be preceded by prayer at the Hour of Mercy and Chaplet of Divine Mercy. About 6:30 pm, a concert of praise by the band Mocni w Duchu (Strong in Spirit) will take place in the church. Preparation for these celebrations will include a three-day retreat, which will be conducted by Fr. Krzysztof Cyran, a Salesian priest. It is worth noting that St. Faustina prayed for one year in this very church. She also received the sacrament of Confirmation here.
