On the 16th anniversary of the canonization of St. Faustina – April 30th – the 4th Bielsko-Żywiec diocese pilgrimage will depart from Bielsko-Biała to the Shrine of Divine Mercy after the 12:00 pm Mass. Pilgrims will walk in several groups. Each one will be appointed a different patron saint: St. Faustina, St. John Paul II, St. Albert Chmielowski, St. Maximilian, St. Joseph Bilczewski, Bl. Fr. Michael Sopocko and Bl. Mother Teresa. Pilgrims will reach Łagiewniki on May 3rd. First, they will visit the Shrine of St. John Paul II at the “Be Not Afraid!” Center, and at 1:15 pm they will come to the Shrine of Divine Mercy to see the chapel with the miracle-famous Divine Mercy image and the tomb of St. Faustina to kiss her relics. Then, the pilgrims will proceed to the basilica, where they will participate in the prayer at the Hour of Mercy, the Chaplet and the Holy Mass which will be celebrated at the end of the pilgrimage.
