On April 26, 2025, the traditional Evening with the Merciful Jesus will take place at the Saint John Paul II National Shrine in Washington, D.C., USA. The event will be led by the sisters from the Washington community of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy. The program includes the Hour of Mercy and the Chaplet, adoration with praise of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, intercessory prayer, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and a conference. As part of the preparation for the Feast of Divine Mercy, Sister Veritas will speak about Divine Mercy Sunday – a hope for those who have none!

In a recorded message, Sister Faustia speaks about the grace of complete forgiveness of faults and punishment, which can be obtained on the Feast of Mercy – provided one makes a good confession, approaches with trust in God, and shows mercy toward others.
